Everywhere you go, enthusiasts continue to ring the knell for the green team. Xbox was recently outsold by a lesser-known competitor. Platform-specific outlets began covering on PS5 topics for the first time. 2025 was a period of total upheaval for the tech giant's gaming arm. However, judging purely by what's coming to Game Pass in 2026, it becomes clear that the green gaming company continues to plan to engage players with strong games on its premier subscription.
The Available Now Titles
A pair of titles you can play right now at this moment, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, are not the headliners. Rather, it's what is coming to Game Pass over the next few weeks that's truly noteworthy.
Major Titles on the Horizon
Come mid-January, the platform will add the underappreciated Star Wars Outlaws, a vast exploration title that refreshes the standard Ubisoft formula with a space-faring criminal escapade. A further major acquisition is Resident Evil Village featuring the towering Lady Dimitrescu, previously described as "the perfect cocktail of horror and action."
Noteworthy Smaller Games
But even the smaller games coming to Game Pass soon deserve recognition. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, a fantastic but under-the-radar dungeon crawler that is incredibly fun, arrives January 7th — and it's worth experiencing whether or not you experienced the first Lost in Random game.
The British post-apocalyptic game from last year might get its hooks in you remarkably quickly.
Atomfall, a game blending infiltration and resource management by the developers behind Sniper Elite, is another one to watch. Ultimate tier members also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to get excited about.
A Robust Selection of Games
All in all, these aren't the most groundbreaking additions to Game Pass, and they are also not tentpole Microsoft studios games that justify the service in the first place. However, this batch of games are rock solid. It offers a healthy blend of older titles you may have skipped and fairly new titles that didn't get the attention they deserved the first time around — transforming them into ideal prospects to experience a revival on Game Pass.
Be prepared to part ways with The Grinch Christmas Adventures, though.
