Aircraft Transporting US Defense Secretary Forced to Touch Down in UK Because of Fracture in Cockpit Window

A plane carrying Pete Hegseth was required to make an emergency landing in the UK on Wednesday after a crack was found in the aircraft's cockpit window, as stated by an official statement which confirmed that the secretary was unharmed.

"The plane landed following established safety measures and all individuals on the flight, such as Secretary Hegseth, is secure," an official representative stated in a social media post.

The secretary was coming back from a short visit to Brussels when the incident occurred.

This incident is not the first time that a American defense plane transporting a top government figure has suffered mechanical issues.

In a previous incident this year, a American military jet ferrying the US Secretary of State to the city in Germany was compelled to head back to Washington DC after encountering a mechanical problem.
